Frequently Asked Questions

What’s the difference between your video tours and other virtual tours?

Our internet video tours use full-motion video captured on a high-end, professional video camera by a professional videographer, and feature a professional voice-over describing the property, plus soothing background music.

How long are your internet videos?

Our internet videos are usually 2-3 minutes long.

Where can potential buyers view my listing on the internet?

In a number of different places. 1) They can view your internet video on your real estate website, where it would have a link similar to any other virtual tour. 2) They can view it at sites like Realtor.com, or other listing services. Just let us know which companies you work with, and we will take care of it. 3) They can view it on our website HomeForSaleVideo.com. 4) The video can be placed onto CDs or DVDs and mailed to potential customers.

How long does it take to produce an internet video listing?

Usually about one week. The videographer must be scheduled to have access to the property, inside and out, then the footage must be edited to produce the final video.

What if some of my customers are not very computer literate. Will they have trouble viewing the videos?

We have chosen to use Flash Technology for viewing our internet videos for the very reason that it is the most common and easily used video player. We have added easy to follow instructions for those computer users that need to upgrade their Flash Player, which, in most cases, should load without even having to reboot. For those computer users with very old operating systems (for example, Windows 95), they may not be able to view internet video, or even standard virtual tours. The demographic of computer literate home buyers is growing rapidly.

Do viewers have to have high-speed access to view the videos?

No, we offer different connection speeds to view the videos. The 56k dial-up modem speed will have a smaller viewing window, while the 300k and 512k speeds will have larger viewing windows according to their speed.

If I'm a Realtor or Developer and I have the talent, knowledge, and capability to produce a video, can I order Internet Video Streaming services directly.

YES. We strongly recommend that you hire a professional videographer in your area, but if you can produce a quality video we offer you the same Internet Video Streaming services as we offer videographers. See Streaming page for more information.
